Duo Boldre-Mauri
Spontaneous improvisations... a tightrope walk, at times contemplative and almost motionless, between two playful and excellent wind instruments.
The Duo started to experiment music improvisation which is seen as possible dialogue also between different languages. From this assumption they develop a repertoire free from style bonds, focused on the here and now and the inspiration of the present moment together with the willingness to merge into the other’s music world.
The improvising duo’s performance moves around atmospheres that range from jazz to world music, fly to radical improvisation and lands on safe structured pieces to plunge again into the exciting uncertainty of here and now.
The Duo recently born on a meeting of mind and feelings, works in full harmony drifting freely among different forms of relation and improvisation, with peaks of contagious hilarity and intense sacredness.
Due to its witty and ironic nature, this performance is very suitable for children and youngsters too.
