This page gives a short overview of all my activities.
I am the director of two polyphonic choirs
Goccia di Voci is a choir with a World music repertoire, where the voice is often used as an instrument.
Ancore d’Aria is a lab for vocal experimentation with a contemporary repertoire that dedicates a lot of space to improvisation.
I propose two solo performances
Voce Danzante con Respiro tells the story of a child, its birth and the discovery of the beauties of the world. In this journey the child is accompanied by a wise old man… no words are used, only sounds.
Suono o Son Desto? Is a meditative performance. I use instruments from different cultures and through improvisation, I explore the sacred world of Singing.
I sing and/or play in various groups
The Duo Boldre-Mauri proposes performances based on improvisation with a dominant ironic and visionary component.
Sextha Consort + Quartetto Ancore d’Aria is a special project, which combines two ensembles: 12 classical guitars and 4 voices move around a 20th century repertoire in a totally unusual and captivating way.
Còco Band is a trio with a sparkling swing repertoire of Italian songs from the 50s and 60s.
The Fare Musica Ensemble born from the Festival FaRe Musica in Casalzuigno (VA) is an experimental group working on an originally composed ethno-jazz repertoire, and is aimed to facilitate an exchange between the various local music-scenes and experiences (professional and amateur musicians, bands, music schools, youth bands).
I collaborate in different other projects
I am a member of the OSA! (CH) Association (former direction of Teatro del Gatto).
I have been sharing with Santuzza Oberholzer since 2004 the artistic direction of the international Festival Voci Audaci.
I work at the programming of the Festival FaRe Musica (I) which schedules jazz, classical music, guided tours and lecture-concerts.
Within Teatro dei Fauni (CH), founded by Santuzza Oberholzer, I am vocal trainer and composer of the music for the Company’s performances (Puppet Theatre..). The Teatro dei Fauni Association also promotes the activities of the polyphonic choirs Goccia di Voci e Ancore d'Aria.
